About Straight A Training
Welcome to Straight A Training. Formed in 1999 by experienced leadership & management training professionals Jayne Raftery and Matthew Nutt. Straight A Trainig has grown to provide a wide range of training services whilst keeping a small business feel. Straight A Training is proud to be a registered training centre with City & Guilds, ILM, and RIPHH, allowing the provision of government funded vocational training in addition to other non-funded courses
When Jayne Raftery and Matthew Nutt first created Straight A Training, the company was focused on hospitality and catering. However, in almost 10 years since then, programme’s have been developed in many other fields, including government funded vocational training and leadership & management training. Programme’s have been carefully designed by professionals with experience working in the field, to be as exciting and effective as possible. Also offered are bespoke training programme’s which are a useful compliment to any leadership & management training, or to any government funded vocational training. A bespoke course helps sharpen practical skills such as interviewing or report writing, giving you the solid foundation you need for success
Beyond government funded vocational training programme’s, Straight A Training has developed a number of partnerships with top area colleges and other learning institutions. Through these partnerships, we at Straight A offer our learners choices, but we also enrich our own understanding of how best to teach. We are constantly improving our government funded vocational programme’s and non-funded learning options as new techniques prove effective.
