Unit V1 Level 4 Certificate in conducting internal quality assurance of the assessment process

Aim

This unit has been developed by the Employment NTO. It replaces the previous D34 unit.

The unit is appropriate for you if your role involves:

• Evaluating the internal assessment process.
• Monitoring and reviewing internal assessment audit systems.
• Carrying out related internal verification or moderation activities.

The V1 unit covers:

• Carrying out and evaluating internal assessment and quality assurance systems.
• Supporting Assessors.
• Monitoring the quality of assessors' performance.
• Meeting external quality assurance requirements

Entry Requirements

There are no formal educational requirements for the award however learners must hold a qualification in the area they intend to assess and be occupationally competent.
