Interviewing Techniques

Interviewing Techniques

Aim

This course is aimed at identifying and presenting the need for accurate selection of personnel within an organisation. It is concerned with taking a leading role in selecting the right person for an identified position.

We all know how important it is to get the right person for the job. They will add value to the business; whereas the wrong person may increase costs, reduce quality and productivity and create managerial problems! No organisation can guarantee that it has selected the right person until he or she starts their role, but an effective interview and selection process can certainly help to make this more likely.

This short course looks at the interview and selection process in detail. It looks at possible selection criteria for the "right" person for the job. It also helps individuals to be more confident in the interview process, and enable them to make robust, informed decisions that are right for their business.
