Level 2 NVQ Cleaning & support service skills

Aim

The City and Guilds Level 2 NVQ Cleaning and Support Services qualification recognises the skills and knowledge that are required to clean in a broad range of situations effectively and safely. This NVQ will allow candidates to apply their skills and knowledge to a national occupancy level required by employers, thus proving competency in their role.

Structure

To achieve the full qualification, learners must attain a minimum of 18 credits in total. This comprises of:

• Units 201-203 must be taken (7 credits)
• A minimum of 2 credits must come from units 105-106
• Plus a minimum of 9 credits, achieved from at least 3 units, from 205-221

Entry requirements

There are no formal educational requirements for the NVQ Cleaning and Support Services Skills Level 2 qualification, but all staff undertaking the qualification should have the opportunity and experience of working in a cleaning environment.
